Choosing LED modules for outdoor signs

Lumen output, lens angle, and pitch determine how even your sign looks. For shallow channel letters, choose wide-angle lenses so light spreads without hotspots. For deep cabinets, tighter lenses with higher lumens keep faces bright without wasting power.

Outdoor signs should use at least IP65 modules with genuine 3M backing. Pair them with 12V or 24V drivers sized at 80% of load to avoid voltage drop. Always test a short run on the bench before climbing the ladder.
